RedBull want Mark to stay

So with Mark Webber winning for the second time this season he is beginning to show that he is in a great position to challenge for the championship. At the British GrandPrix over the weekend Mark completely outperformed team-mate Sebastien Vettel.

In my opinion Vettel is rattled by Mark's performances so far this season. Mark is currently second in the championship on 116 point's just 13 point's behind championship leader Fernando Alonso. Sebastien Vettel is currently in 3rd on 100 points.

After the race Vettel was apparently not very happy as he said that he was extremely disappointed that 'we didn't win today' but RedBull did win on Sunday. I think that Vettel is rattled by the fact that his superiority in the team has been challenged by Mark. Christian Horner, RedBull's team boss has said that he wants to keep Mark on board for 2013 as the Aussie is on a year on year rolling contract with the team and he sees no reason for Mark to leave the team.

They have said that they will sit down over the next coupe of week's with Mark and discuss a deal for next year. I think it would be fantastic if Mark is able to continue his form for the rest of the season and beat Vettel this year.
