Ferrari's Fernando Alonso took his second consecutive pole position during an extremely wet qualifying session. Reigning world champion Sebastian Vettel will start the race in second place. Mark Webber was in 3rd place however he will take a five place grid penalty following a gearbox penalty.
McLaren had a bit of a difficult session as they will start 6th and 7th respectively. Meanwhile after setting the fastest time in Q2 Kimi Raikkonen will start the race from 10th place for Lotus while team mate Romain Grosjean will have to come from the back of the grid, as he has a grid penalty following a gearbox change.
Due to Mark Webber's grid penalty Michael Schumacher will start from 3rd behind Fernando Alonso and Sebastian Vettel.
So with tomorrow's race expected to be dry it is going to be a very interesting race. it is quiet difficult to overtake in Germany so it is going to be an extremely interesting race. My prediction for the race? I think that Fernando Alonso will win the race with Webber on the podium and Kimi will finsih in the points and may very well finish on the podium as in the dry he was the fastest in Q2.
