2013 mid year test dropped

Next season's mid year Formula One test will not go ahead. Team's have also confirmed that they will have three pre-season test's. The first of three four day pre-season test's will start in Jerez, Spain on the 5th February 2013.

The 2013 Formula One season will feature 20 races including a second trip to the US for the New Jersey street race. The season will start on St Patrick's Day 17th March. The fact that the in season test will not go ahead in 2013 mean that the team's will save money on transporting their car's and staff to circuit's for the test. Which will go a long way to saving money.

In related news teams are apparently very close to coming up with the Research Restrictions Agreement. Team's have been trying for a number of year's to come up with an agreement to reduce the cost of Formula One.
