Ferrari's Fernando Alonso set the fastest time in final practice this morning ahead of this afternoon's qualifying session on a dry Silverstone circuit. The Spaniard was just ahead of Jenson Button and the Lotus of Romain Grosjean. Vettel was 4th with Kimi Raikkonen in 5th. The top 6 driver's were seperated by by just 0.3s.
Nico Rosberg endured a tough morning as he was down in 18th place following mechanical problem's with his Mercedes AMG car. Meanwhile his team mate Michael Schumacher who have traditionally driven well in Silverstone was in 14th place.
