De Villota out of ICU

Marussia test driver Maria De Villota has been taken out of the ICU at Cambridge's Addenbrook hospital her sister confirmed this morning. She also confirmed that Maria is no longer under sedation.

It is believed that she could leave hospital to return to Spain at the end of the week.

This is fantastic news considering the fact that she had the accident just over a week ago. There has been no further update on what what caused the crash as the investigation is on going.
