Williams driver Pastor Maldonado was handed a post race fine of £10,000 following the British GrandPrix after he was found to have caused an accident with Sergio Perez. He was also handed an official reprimand.
Maldonado has been involved in a number of incident's since he made his F1 Debut with Williams last year. He was involved in an accident with Lewis Hamilton. He was then involved in an accident with Lotus driver Romain Grosjean during the opening race of this season. He was also involved in a accident with Lewis Hamilton during the European GrandPrix in Valencia two week's ago.
I really think that Formula One need to follow the lead of the IndyCar Series and bring in a probation period for a driver who is repeated found to have caused crashes in a season. Already this season Maldonado has had three reprimands this season so I firmly believe and this may be a little harsh that he should have his super license suspended for at least a race.
