Lotus team up Batman ahead of Silverstone

The Lotus F1 team announced in Silverstone that they have signed a promotional deal with The Dark Knight Rises movie for this weekend's British GrandPrix in Silverstone. The deal means that we will see The Dark Knight Rises logo on the side of both Kimi and Romain's E20 car's aswell as their overalls and their helmets.

I think it a great idea and the Lotus looks great with The Dark Knight Rises logo on the side of the car. It's not the first time that a Formula One team have helped promote a movie. At the 2003 British GrandPrix Jaguar teamed up with Terminator 3 to help promote the new movie. RedBull Racing have also promoted a number of movies including Star Wars at the 2005 Monaco GrandPrix.

In 2008, The Toyota F1 teamed up with The Dark Knight for the British GrandPrix in a similar deal to the one that Lotus have for the new movie.

The Dark Knight Rises in the final film of Christopher Nolan's trilogy of Batman film's, Christian Bale returns as Batman/Bruce Wayne, Gary Oldman is back as Commissioner Gordon, Michael Caine is back as Alferd and Morgan Freeman is back as Lucius Fox, Liam Neeson returns as R'as Ghul, the original cast are joined by Tom Hardy who plays Bane and Anne Hathaway who plays Selina Kyle/Catwoman.

The New movie is released in cinema's on July 20th and promises to be an excellent conclusion
