Sauber's Sergio Perez managed to mantain his place at the top of the timesheets in Barcelona today as day 3 of the final preseason test came to a close. The Mexican completed 114 lap's with a fastest time of 1m 22.094s to finish just nine thousandths of a second ahead of McLaren's Jenson Button. It was another great day for the Toro Rosso team as Daniel Ricciardo finished the day in third place just ahead of Ferrari's Felipe Massa.
It was tough day at the office for Kimi Raikkonen and Lotus however as a steering problem this morning meant that Kimi lost an hour of this morning's session and only managed to complete 43 lap's today. The finn finished the day at the bottom of the timesheets in 10th place. However I believe he will bounce back tomorrow as Winter testing and the 2012 preseason test programme concludes.
