Williams F1 Chairman Adam Parr has announced that he will leave the team at the end of this week. Parr has been with the Grove-based team since 2006 and has played an instrumental role in turning the team's fortune's around in the opening rounds of the 2012 season.
The Williams team endured their worst season in their history in 2011 a season in which they only scored 5 points. They have already outperformed where they were last year as Bruno Senna scored a fantastic 6th place in last weekend's Malaysian GrandPrix.
I think that this is brilliant for the team, they have a new driver in Bruno Senna and a new engine supply with Renault so it is going to very interesting to see how the team get on. The news that Adam Parr is leaving the team came as a massive shock as it was believed that Parr was the natural successor to Sir Frank Williams however that is no longer the case.
