The Williams F1 team confirmed today that the team's development driver Susie Wolff will have her first outing for the team next week. I believe that this is fantastic news that Susie will get a taste of what driving an F1 car is like. Her schedule for next week has yet to be announced. The Scottish driver who competes in the German Touring car championship joined the Williams team at the start of the 2012 season and has been working in the team's simulator at their Grove HQ.
It is going to be extremely interesting to see how Susie gets on with her test and I have no doubt that she will do a fantastic job in the car. I will keep updated on her progress during the week
