Davidson injured in massive LeMans crash

LeMan 24 Hour driver and former F1 driver Anthony Davidson suffered a broken back during yesterday's leg of the LeMan 24 hour. The Toyota driver who was challenging the leaders of the race made contact with a Ferrari car and flipped his car. The car was hurled into the air and fortunately landed right side up but was a horrific crash.

After the crash Davidson tweeted that he was lying in a French hospital bed with a broken back. It is not yet known the extent of his injuries so we shall see what happens. The Sky Sports F1 commentator will be out of action from his duties with Sky and it will mean that he will not race.
