Audi 1-2-3 as Brundle finishes 15th overall

The 2012 LeMan 24 Hour was a huge success for the Audi team who filled all three spots on the podium. Scotland's Allen McNish had been leading towards the end of the race but suffered a crash. Despite the crash the Scot and his team managed to finish second.

It was a great race for former F1 driver Giancarlo Fisichella who won his class driving a Ferrai. Sky Sports F1 HD commentator and 1990 LeMan winner Martin Brundle who was racing alongside his son in a Nissan Zytec car had a great race as they finished 15th overall and 7th in the LMP2 class.

There was also an update on Anthony Davidson's condition, The 33 year old has broken two vertebrae in his back and has been told that he will be out of racing for up to three months. I fully expect him to make a full recovery and with just a week to go until the European GrandPrix in Valencia I'm sure that Sky F1 will announce a replacement for him in the next few day's.
